Hanne Alsbirk is a Danish anthropologist and professional GIA certified pearl grader. Living and working in Asia for a total of eight years, she started her own pearl import and jewelry business full time in 2009. Hanne Alsbirk brings into the Danish jewelry trade an authentic Scandinavian design tradition that mixes with a variety of pearls sourced in the East. She is also a keen writer and educator and started in February 2011 PEARL SCHOOL in Virum.
